The RJ’s Fake Accent

I am quite sure on this one. The FM stations are hiring ex-BPO staffers as RJs. That is the only explanation for the RJ’s fake accent the other day. The poor fellow was trying so hard, but couldn’t quite manage to sound convincing enough.

You know the kind, who pick up some piece of info and try to sound like an expert, or that irritating fella who acts so that he can be the part of the cool crowd. Yes, that’s exactly what he sounded like. Maybe the station got him on the cheap.

Obviously a shut down here, a shut down there and you have a truck load of laid off employees each with a mediocre accent training all ready to give us poor souls an earful of crap.
